Round The Island Race Spectator Trip 7th June 2025
Event Details
On Saturday 7th June 2025 the Yarmouth Rose will be leaving Yarmouth at 7.30am to take in the views on the competing yachts of the Round the Island Yacht Race.
We would expect to be afloat for around 2.5 hours spending a considerable amount of time in and around the Needles Lighthouse where a lot of the pinch point action occurs. Those keen on photography will marvel at the close up deck side views of the boats, whilst others may just take in the atmosphere afloat whilst the race unfolds towards the Needles.
The vessel is licensed for up to 87 people, but we will be limiting to 45 for comfort and space for people to move around and take photos. It is an open boat, so come well prepared for the elements.
Should the weather on the day be considered to be too windy / rough / wet for spectators, the decision will be taken to cancel the trip and a note posted on our website the night before.
The cost will be £25 per person, payable by cash or card on the day. Booking is essential, and would request this be done by email to info@needlespleasurecruises.co.uk noting the number of people within your booking and a mobile number in case we need to speak to you before the event. Please be on the quay behind the lifeboat by 7.15am on the day. For any cancellation, please again email by 5pm on Friday 6th June.
